Virtual Health Careers Conference 2020 - 25 July 2020

The UKs leading Conference for Aspiring and Current Health Professionals is taking place on 25 July 2020 virtually. Over 1,500 have already signed up for the virtual experience making it one of the largest global health career events ever held online.

There will be virtual keynotes, over 50 CPD workshops, interactive exhibition, mentoring and networking opportunities.Themes include Global health, Medical Education, Leadership, Digital Health and Innovation, Quality Improvement, Start-Ups, Social Media and much more.

Supported by NHS England, Health Education England, General Medical Council, Innovation Agency, Royal Colleges, Universities and key organisations. The National Health Careers Conference Team are shining a spotlight on the contributions of NHS staff during the pandemic with over 50 hours of support available during the experience for aspiring and current healthcare professionals.

The pandemic has inspired many to consider a career in healthcare and the conference will provide a wealth of support to individuals looking to develop these interests,

There is a focus on widening participation and inspiring healthcare heroes through their annual programme which will be delivered virtually during the pandemic. A world first in the delivery of a virtual conference sees a live virtual studio in Manchester, UK integrated with digital conference platforms to deliver a fully immersive virtual experience globally.

VHCC 2020 will see the launch of Star Awards to recognise contributions of healthcare professionals, students, schools and wider society during the pandemic and beyond. An important initiative to share stories of unsung heroes.

VHCC 2020 is passionate about showcasing research, there will be a call for abstracts to share work digitally in a pop-up event following the conference.

An exciting new concept sees the launch of the VHCC Waiting room allowing space for mentoring with current healthcare professionals and leaders. Followed by the VHCC Disco providing networking opportunities and sharing reflections on careers in healthcare for aspiring and seasoned healthcare professionals alike.
